"MOONSET MISSION STATEMENT "

"moonset LITERARY NEWSPAPER" is dedicated to creating, in one publication, the poetic and visual-studies of Japanese art forms, written by all peoples and nationalities worldwide, but with due respect to Japan’s ancient and honorable culture.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

As an Oregon, USA nature-concerned publication, moonset is environmentally friendly—thus it is printed on recyclable, acid-free paper grown and harvested in 'Certified Forests.' The wood used in manufacturing our newspaper is a renewable resource (much like corn or wheat,) US Federal and International guidelines insure that 'Certified Forest Harvesters' adhere to standards of environmental responsibility and ethical forestland husbandry. To further protect our landfills from petroleum products, we use only biodegradeable soy-based ink.
